Northern Ireland Healthcare Providers Database

The Public Sector in Northern Ireland has created a set of web services to allow approved partners to interact with the service, free of charge. The web services return Public Sector content in a form that can be easily integrated into a website or application.

We intend to make various datasets available through web services. Currently, the web services can be used to search the Service Directories and return data relating to Health and Public Transportation.

This Public Sector data must be credited and accompanied by the content supplied by The Public Sector in Northern Ireland logo (see below) on every page where it is shown. Partners should link this logo to the source page where content has come from.

Technical overview

The web services currently provided accept REST (Representational State Transfer) http requests and responses are returned in XML. Any content cached on the client side must be refreshed on a weekly basis (minimum).
